POLYFLOW - deformation of printed logo in thermoforming/blow moulding

Is it possible to predict the final shape of the printed image after thermoforming (or blow moulding)? To some extent, this is an exercise similar to particle tracking (Lagrangian). A logo is printed in a given area in the initial configuration (say from in a box from X1 to X2 and Y1 to Y2). At the end of the process, one needs to look at the new location and deformation of that box. This can also be done by defining two subdomains, where one of them would "surround" the printed logo. That option is also of interest if the printed logo locally affects the rheology... |
