Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error!

After installing Fluent 6.4.x beta Gambit 2.4.6 fails to import Problem to import an stl file and reports the following: Error: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: c:fluent.incutilityfe2ram4.3ntx86fe4318.exe An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information. Resolution: Gambit is complaining about fe4318.exe but Gambit's install log shows it installs fe4317.exe. Rename fe4318.exe to fe4317.exe. Caution: This may break some import/export functionality in FLUENT and you may need to rename the file back to the proper value to restore that if needed. Renaming/deleting fe4318.exe (leaving fe4317.exe as the default) enables Gambit to run. Gambit is running the "latest" fe*.exe rather then the specific one it was build to run with and that is causing the problem. |
