POLYFLOW : the total permeability is twice the value when the fluid is defined on two subdomains?

In thermoforming/blow moulding applications, when the fluid layer is defined on 2 sub-domain instead of one, rhe total permeability calculated by POLYFLOW and written in the listing file, is twice the expected value. If the fluid layer is defined only on one subdomain, the total permeability value matches the expected result. This is a little defect which is related to the way the total permeability is evaluated when the fluid layer is defined on two or more subdomains. As an easy workaround, the user should multiply the calculated value produced into the listing by the number of subdomains defining the fluid layer. |
