The attached input file illustrates APDL usage to set up a transient analysis of a simply supported beam subjected to harmonically varying excitation (base acceleration). Nonlinearities can be added to this input file as needed. The purpose of the input file is to illustrate the procedure using APDL to define harmonic excitation with a table array in a transient analysis. The procedure should be applicable to any engineering discipline (or combinations thereof in coupled field analyses).
