On an ITANIUM HP Workstation (HP UX 11.22) the file.LN09 file will not grow above 2GB. The rst file can grow above 2GB.
The user has large files enabled on the file system.
The following error is in the output file:
*** fatal error no. -505 ***
subroutine xdslfa encountered i/o error on word addressable i/o file no.9
What is causing the ln09 file not to pass 2GB?

There was an issue with fortran I/O in an early version of HP UX 11.22, which was later fixed, whereby it wouldn't write/read large files. To fix this problem, have the user download and install patch PHSS_30080 from HP. |
