Re: USERCREEP Standard Package

Please find attached the initial release of the ANSYS USERCREEP Standard Package. This package is a collection of file that are intended to demonstrate the implementation of an implicit creep equation into ANSYS. Included in the package are:
1. The coding for USERCREEP that is programmed into the production version of ANSYS, usercreep_ansysdefault. This version of implicit creep is identical to the strain hardening law for TBOPT=1.
2. An input file, ansysverif.inp, that demonstrates that TBOPT=1 and TBOPT=100 give the same results.
3. An output file, ansysverif.out, that is the output file from running ansysverif.inp with the standard version of ANSYS.
4. A modified version of USERCREEP, usercreep_statev, that demonstrates the use of STATE variables in an analysis using implicit creep.
5. An input file, statev.inp, for exercising usercreep_statev.
6. A modified version of USERCREEP, usercreep_sterling, that demonstrates the implementation of the Sterling Power equation for creep.
7. A Word document describing the implementation of the Sterling creep law.
8. An input file, sterling.inp, for exercising the Sterling creep law in ANSYS.
9. An output file, sterling.out, that is the output file from running sterling.inp with the Sterling Power creep law in ANSYS.

To include a customize creep law, the user must relink the ANSYS program to include the USERCREEP subroutine. Details for relinking are documented in the Guide to ANSYS User Programmable Features. Implicit user creep is activated by setting TBOPT to 100 on the TB command. This package has been tested for the initial release of ANSYS 8.0. Questions concerning this should be directed to ANSYS Technical Support.
