ANSYS Workbench - MSVCR71.dll Not Found

When starting ANSYS Workbench 11 SP1 on a new Windows XP 64-bit platform the following error is displayed: "This application failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." *Resolution* In a Command Prompt window change to the folder C:program filesansys incv110AISOLCommonFilesMiscAWPNC (or to your installation folder if you did not use the default) and issue the following two commands: DependencySetupx64.exe vcredist_x64.exe After this Workbench should start with no problems. |
