Ansoft Mouse Drag combination (linux)

If the Alt-Mouse_drag combination isn`t working on Linux, it`s most likely because the window manager has something associated with that action and may then be stripping off the modifier before passing the mouse action to the application (or perhaps screening the action from that application altogether).

How you would work around this depends on the window manager. In RedHat v4 Linux box running KDE, I would fix this by going into the KDE Control Center, finding Desktop/Window Behavior in the tree, and changing to the `Actions` tab. In this tab is a list of actions that the window manager associates with the various contexts. There is also a control to switch the `Modifier key` used by the window manager. The choices are Alt and Meta (on my keyboard the Meta key is the key with the Windows logo on it). The easiest thing might just be for the user to switch the Modifier key so that the window manager isn`t using `Alt + left mouse button` for anything.

Other window managers will have the controls in different places, but all should have a way to re-assign the key combinations used.
