1. Verify the /etc/hosts file does not have a) hostname referenced to 127.0.0.1 b) hostname referenced to multiple IPs c) ::1 (If so, this should be commented out) 2. Clear the mainwin: mv ~/.mw ~/.mw_old try restarting the Ansoft application. 3. Has disk quota been reached? 4. Can regedit GUI open? <installation path>/<product-specific subdirectory>/ConfigureSoftware.bash -viewreg 5. Create a Service Request and attach the following logs: a. "bash -x {application path}/{application} > /tmp/bashx.log 2>&1" ex: bash -x /opt/ansoft/hfss13.0/hfss > /tmp/bashx.log 2>&1 b. Gather diagnostic logs of an attempted analysis: mkdir /tmp/ansoft_debug export ANSOFT_DEBUG_MODE=6 export ANSOFT_DEBUG_LOG=/tmp/ansoft_debug/test.log export ANSOFT_DEBUG_LOG_SEPARATE=1 export ANSOFT_PASS_DEBUG_ENV_TO_REMOTE_ENGINES=1 Run the application to generate logs after environment variables are set.
