Why is WB Mechanical remeshing when I change the thickness of a body? That should have no effect on the existing mesh.

The reason is that you have a Uniform Quad/Tri Mesh Method control. It's documented and by design that we remesh so that Uniform Quad does not mesh over a thickness changes. The bodies are protected just as if they had loads. |
