When trying to use ANSYS Workbench DesignModeler to view an existing model's geometry I get the following script error message and I can't use DesignModeler at all:

This is caused by specifying an invalid directory for the temporary files from Workbench 8.1. To reset the directory to a valid one start ANSYS Workbench 8.1 then select (from the bottom left hand corner of the Workbench screen) Tools > Options then, in the panel that opens up, select DesignModeler > Miscellaneous > Files. Set "Folder for temporary files" to a valid folder directory name. |
