In ANSYS 8.1, when running a thermal analysis with SHELL131 and postprocessing heat loss using FSUM, a confusing mix of HEAT and multiple HTOP values associated with SHELL131 are reported in output. How are these multiple heat calculations to be interpreted?
This is a code defect (# 27977) with regards to SHELL131 and FSUM command in /POST1. It has been corrected for ANSYS 9.0. The first non zero HEAT or HTOP value should be the correct heat loss across the surface. All values that follow are nonsensical. |
