The SUCALC,,,ATAN2 command in ANSYS gives same answer as the SUCALC,,,ATAN command. Why is this?

This is a documentation error both in the online docu and in the GUI dialogue box that has been corrected at ANSYS 9.0, which is due out 4th quarter of 2004.
(Ref. Defect Report 28206)

The correct operator for SUCALC should read: ATA2 - (atan2 (lab1 / lab2) + const)
Using ATAN2, ANSYS truncates the operator to the first four letters. Hence, you get the calculation for ATAN, not ATA2.
The workaround in ANSYS 8.1 is to replace the operator "ATAN2" with "ATA2".
