What version of ANSYS is supported on SUN Java Workstation W2100z (AMD Opteron processor)?

The Sun V20z, V40z, W1100z, W2100z (all Opteron systems), run with Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems. If the OS is Solaris, there is no current version of ANSYS that will run on it. The Sun SPARC versions sun64 and USIII will definitely not run. If the OS is Linux (SuSe Enterprise Linux 8 or 9, or Red Hat), then ANSYS 9.0 AMD64 version and the Linux IA-32 version (ANSYS 8.1 or 9.0) will run on it. If the OS is Windows, then the Windows IA-32 version (ANSYS 8.1 or 9.0) will run on it. |
