Why aren't the component stress results obtained with PLSECT and PLPATH
the same. They are mapped to the same path.

PLSECT uses the path coordinate system, with x oriented in the direction of the path, while PLPATH uses global cartesian. Your path is oriented in the global y direction, so the two coordinate systems are not the same. |
