Q. I am using inches as my working unit in Inventor 9. When I open the model in CFX-Mesh, it appears that the model was changed into Centimeters. I thought that CFX-Mesh did not do any units conversions. What happened?
A. CFX Mesh did not convert the units. The user can choose the working units in Inventor 9, but that does not control how Inventor stores the model. It will always do that in Centimeters. So that's what CFX-Mesh reads.
