Q. When running a structural 2D analysis in Workbench 9.0 with a Professional License, it meshes automatically with PLANE18X Elements for 2d problems and then issues the following error message when trying to solve. Why is this element type not supported by ANSYS Porfessional?

A. This limitation has been removed for Workbench 9.0SP1A. PLANE18X elements as well as PLAN42 and 82 are supported in Workbench 2D with a Professional License.
