How can I remove a given displacement load for a particular load step in a sequenced (multiple load-step) simulation?

In a Workbench Simulation, it is not possible to enter all blanks (-,-,-) to represent "free in all directions" for a given displacement type load. Workaround 1: Use a Remote Displacement instead of a Given Displacement. A Remote displacement will allow (-,-,-) as input. Workaround 2 : Use a Command object with a "DDELE" command to delete the Given Displacement. Hint: Applying the given displacement load scoped to a Named Selection helps to avoid confusion when selecting the nodes. |
