My Workbench model (dsdb) contains a Point Mass. When I open this model in FE Modeler and Generate Data for any target system (ANSYS, ABAQUS, or NASTRAN), the point mass does not appear in the finite-element model. Why isn't the point mass included in the FE model?

FE Modeler can recognize only entities and features that are attached to the underlying geometry. Because WB Point Masses are not attached to any geometry, FE Modeler doesn't even know that they exist. |
