Customer gets the following error when trying to install ANSYS 9.0:
The image file D: is valid, but is for a machine type other than the current machine.
What is causing this error?

The customer was trying to install IA 64 image on an x64 box, which doesn't work. ANSYS/WB 10.0 x64 will be released in the fall. The customer can try the IA 32 install for now, that should work. |
