After configuring the connection for ProE with ANSYS 10.0, the user receives an error concerning MSVCR71.dll when trying to start Pro Engineer.

Check the system PATH to verify that the following are at the beginning of the PATH: C:Windows;C:Windowssystem32 (Control Panel->System->Advanced->Environment Variables->System variables->PATH) Also: Check the c:WindowsSystem32 directory for the file MSVCR71.dll. If it exists, try renaming it to MSVCR71.dll.old and then copy the MSVCR71.dll from the `C:Program FilesAnsys Incv100ANSYSbinintel` directory to the `c:windowssystem32` directory. If it does not exist, copy it to the directory. |
