How can I use results from a boundary of one run as an inlet condition to my second run?

1) In CFX-Post, open the results file of the first run. 2) Choose File/Export and choose the type "BC Profile". For more than the listed variables in the Profile Type tab, choose custom and you can export as many variables as you like to the same file. 3) Next go to CFX-Pre and choose Tools / Initialise Profile Data and choose the just created .csv file from the data export. This will automatically set up the functions required to use this data. 4) All that is required then is to create your boundary condition, and on the Basic Setting form choose Use Profile Data, click on Generate values and it will fill in the required entries based on the variables it found in the exported data file. |
