My animation in ANSYS Workbench Simulation 10.0 shows negative
equivalent plastic strains, but this cannot be correct, right?

Defect 39250 was filed and subsequently fixed in the daily build of ANSYS 11.0. The Preview 4 build (which will be used at the ANSYS 2006 Conference) will have this fix, too. It should be available for download from our Customer Portal in late April or early May. The problem only occurred for multiple load step scenarios. . |
