When importing my curve files, I get the following warning in TurboGrid 10.0:

ERROR
Last blade profile is not defined as a shroud tip and is too far (0.5 of span) from the
shroud for reliable intersection. Must be at least 0.920000 of span.

What should I do?

There are two reasons why this could happen:

1) The wrong length units were selected for the hub and/or shroud and/or profile curves. Double check these under GEOMETRY > HUB/SHROUD/BLADE > LENGTH UNITS to ensure the units are correct.

2) If the units are correct, then the blade does not intersect the hub and/or shroud properly. In this case you will need to add a profile curve to perform the intersection. TurboGrid will extrapolate if the profile curve for the hub or shroud lies within 8% span of the hub or shroud curve. You can always use a tip clearance to increase the tip gap if necessary.
