Why am I getting the error message below when I run the ADAMS
macro with BEAM188 in ANSYS 10.0?

*** ERROR ***
The number of modes expected (17) does not match the number found (15).
Most likely, the model has errors or there were more modes requested
than exist. Please review the prior modal solution for warnings.

I ran your input and then listed the superelement that is created
by the macro, SELIST,subelem,3. I could see from the matrices
that there was no mass for the torsional dof (ROTY.) This is why
2 modes are not found.

The ADAMS macro uses LUMPM,ON to be consistent with ADAMS.
For the CTUBE section, the lumping process is removing the torsional
inertia of BEAM188 (it removes all the rotational inertia values for beam4
and beam44 ` See Theory Manual Section 13.2.2.)

Normally BEAM188 would not remove the torsional inertia, but in this case
it detects a non-existent offset of the CTUBE section. Defect 45470 corrects this.
A workaround at 10.0 is to use another section type, such as RECT.
