Why is my prestressed modal cyc analysis with mismatched nodes crashing in ANSYS 10.0 and 11.0?
I am getting the error message below. With this model it only seems to occur when more than
one harmonic index is requested.

A term of constraint equation 1657 is not defined, most likely due to a displacement constraint on this or an adjoining constraint equation.

This is a current limitation of the modal cyclic symmetry capability. Development believes that the use of constraints on the edge nodes contributes to the problem (Ref: Defect 29249.) |
