Is ANSYS Inc. software affected by the change to Daylight Savings Time in 2007?

Starting in 2007, the Daylight Saving Time period will be extended by one month and will begin (for most of Canada and the United States) at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and revert to standard time at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November. These new start and stop dates were set in the Energy Policy Act of 2005. ANSYS, Inc. is aware of this change and would like to issue the following statement concerning it`s software and the change to Daylight Savings time: ANSYS, Inc. products are unaffected by Daylight Savings Time. Please contact your hardware vendor for any patches or updates that may be required by your operating system. |
