ANS_ADMIN->Configuration Options->Configure Cluster is not accessible on Windows x64. The menu is greyed. Why?

This is a defect that will be fixed in ANSYS 11.0 Service Pack 1. The workaround is to either create the file on a 32bit Windows machine and copy it over to the x64 machine or create the file manually. The lines would look as follows: pghxp64glkarnos winx64 0 4 0 0 c:test MPI 1 1 Where pghxp64glkarnos is the hostname, of course, and winx64 is the platform. The only other fields you may need to change is the one that states: 4 This is the total number of processors on the specific machine. Also, C:test, which is the working directory. |
