I believe my MATRIX27 model is giving incorrect velocity and acceleration results.
How do I verify that they are correct?

If the model is too complicated for a theoretical solution, then you need to build a simple model using non-matrix elements and compare the results to a simple MATRIX27 model. Once you have convinced yourself that those results are correct, you can add on to your model accordingly. Attached is a simple LINK8/MASS21 model compared to the MATRIX27 equivalent. ANSYS Classic 11.0 was used. . |
