Installed ANSYS 11.0 Products on a Windows PC (x64, however this should not matter), and the ANSYS 11.0 menu does not show in Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.
In this situation, the customer was starting Pro/Engineer from Intralink and it was reading a specific LOCAL config.pro under a separate directory.
This file did contain the correct link for the 11.0 Geometry Interface for Pro/E.
What could be the cause of the menu not showing?

Pro Intralink did not link the PROTKDAT statement in the ANSYS line: PROTKDAT C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCAD IntegrationProEProEPagesconfigWBPlugInPE.dat After changing this to: TOOLKIT_REGISTRY_FILE C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCAD IntegrationProEProEPagesconfigWBPlugInPE.dat The menu was now visible in Pro/Engineer and Workbench would now attach models from Pro/Engineer. We were also able to update the geometry in Pro/E and the geometry was updated in Workbench. |
