SYMPTOM:
When a Definition/Results File containing Monitor Points is opened in CFX Pre 11.0, some of the Monitor Points are not highlighted in the Viewer. Highlighting them causes the following error to be generated:

CCL validation failed with message:
Error: The essential parameter 'Option' is missing from /POINT:Point Point 1
PROBLEM:
This is due to a bug in CFX Pre, and can can occur when the file contains Monitor Points defined using both the Coordinate and Expression options.

WORKAROUND: The error can be fixed by visiting the Monitor tab of Output Control, and re-applying the Monitor Point data. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 11.0 Service Pack 1. |
