What is the equation for a PDS response surface?

We fit the sampling points using full second order polynomial terms (with cross terms). For example, two input variables (X1 and X2), the full 2nd order polynomial terms are as follows: Y = c0+c1X1+c2X2+c3X1X1+c4X2X2+c5X1X2 Also, we transform the output variable's values and filter out unimportant term(s) for a better fit. In ANSYS PDS, we don't provide the fitted equation. We do provide the fitted equation in DesignXplorer. |
