Class 3 Error
SYMPTOM:
If you have a GGI interface when using the total energy model including viscous work, then the Solver gets an incorrect answer because the viscous work term is not included at the interface. The effect of this will often be small, unless viscous work is the dominant physical process.
PROBLEM:
This is due to the viscous work not being included in the control surface equations at a G

WORKAROUND: Use the thermal energy model with viscous dissipation if possible. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.0. |
