Are there any recommended values for the Anisotropy Coefficient for the Scattering Model in coal combustion?

Although the literature suggests that there is a large amount of scattering from coal and ash particles, most of this scattering is in fact close to the forward direction (i.e. it is very anisotropic) and difficult to model. We therefore think it is better to simply ignore it since scattering in the forward direction is no scattering at all! |
