You may be hitting a 2-GB limit in the size of the temp file on WIN64 (defect 63637) that has been removed in ANSYS 12.0. The cases below show how the size of the temp file is computed when running the ADAMS macro, in addition to what will and will not run. Case1 (runs) Nodes = 400,619 Interface points = 16 Number of Modes to extract = 15 Result file: (16*6+15)*400619*3*16 = 1.988 GB < 2GB Case2 (fails) Nodes = 400,619 Interface points = 16 Number of Modes to extract = 16 Result file: (16*6+16)*400619*3*16 = 2.006 GB > 2GB |
