In ANSYS Release 11.0, is it possible to obtain the contribution of a portion of the model to a particular mode?

It is not possible to directly obtain the contribution of a portion of a model to a particular mode; however, the ratio of the strain energy for a selected set of elements to the strain energy for the entire model is essentially the contribution of that set of elements to that mode. The strain energy can be obtain using the ETABLE command. |
