KNOWN ISSUE: CFD-Post may use incorrect mesh for sliding mesh cases in Fluent (Class 3 Error if it were not mentioned in errata)

SYMPTOM: When using CFD-Post for FLUENT results cases using the sliding mesh feature, independently of the time step selected CFD-Post will always use the mesh for the last time step. This means, for example, that animations will be incorrect. PROBLEM: This is due to incorrect implementation of the sliding mesh feature. WORKAROUND: To work around this problem, exit from CFD-Post, set the environment variable CFDPOST_FORCE_FLUENT_MESH_UPDATE to a value of 1 and restart CFD-Post. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.1. |
