KNOWN ISSUE: CFD-Post may crash when creating Vortex Core Regions

SYMPTOM: For cases where a Vortex Core Region is created using the Swirling Discriminant method, CFD-Post may crash. PROBLEM: This is due to a coding error where a value of 1.0E+20 was assumed to be the maximum value of any variable. Calculated values of the variable in excess of this caused CFD-Post to crash. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.1. |
