KR284: What is the difference between Hex-Dominant method vs. Hex-core?

Hex-Dominant method creates unstructured hexahedral mesh in the whole domain. Hex core method creates structured hex mesh inside the domain like in Gambit/TGrid and a transition tet layers on the boundaries. Currently in most of the situations, Hex Dominant mesh may not be suitable for use with Fluent-CFD. |
