In Icepak, users can have an assembly inside another assembly; this is called a nested assembly. Both the assemblies can be non-conformal and can have different meshes. Using a nested assembly helps in organizing a model and also non-conformal option helps in further reducing the mesh count For additional information on Non Conformal meshing, check attachment. |
