A: This can be clarified as follows: 1) If you want to use FEMGV 7.1 with ASAS then you must use ASAS 12.1. ASAS 12.1 and FEMGV 7.1 can only use license keys cut for the ANSYS 12.1 license manager (ansyslmd daemon). In addition to the ANSYS license file containing the ASAS and FEMGV license keys, you also need a FEMGV authorisation file called fgvkey.k71; this must be requested from TNO Diana by your local CRC, and must be placed in the KEYFILE folder of the FEMGV 7.1 installation (by default this folder is c:program filesfemgv 7.1KEYFILE). 2) If you want to use FEMGV with an earlier version of ASAS such as ASAS 14.04 then you must use FEMGV 7.0. FEMGV 7.0 and ASAS 14.04 can only use license keys cut for the ASAS license manager (asaslm daemon). In addition to the ASAS license file containing the ASAS and FEMGV license keys, you will also need the following two authorisation files: + a FEMGV authorisation file called fgvkey.k70, again to be requested from TNO Diana by your local CRC, and to be placed in the keyfile folder of the FEMGV 7.0 installation (by default this folder is c:program filesfemsysfgv7005keyfile) + an ASAS authorisation file called asas.sec which is supplied with the ASAS license file.
