KNOWN ISSUE: Vector component callbacks for multiphase flows do not work

SYMPTOM: If phase-specific, vector component callbacks are used in the CFX-Solver, for example Liquid.force_y()@locator, then the solver fails with an error similar to the following: +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | Message: | An error: Illegal Vector Component for callback function force_y(- | )@Wand +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ Callbacks for vector magnitudes, for example Liquid.force()@Locator, do work correctly. Cause: This is a bug in the CFX-Solver. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX-Release 14.0. A custom executable for ANSYS CFX Release 13.0 is available in request. |
