*Problem Description* The following error occurs when trying to start Workbench 12.0: "The Type initializer for 'Ans.Core.Units.Units Manager' threw an exception" *Resolution* This error occurs when the ANSYS environment variables are set incorrectly. For example: the ANSYS installation directory is C:Program FilesANSYS Inc, but AWP_ROOT120 is set to D:Program FilesANSYS Incv120. Changing the incorrect environment variable setting to the correct path will resolve the problem. See attached Resolution Document. |
