Error running ANSYS CFX 11 Service Pack 1 on a Windows 2000 platform

*Problem Description* After installing ANSYS CFX 11.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) on a machine running Windows 2000 starting the Launcher generates the following error message: Perl.exe: Procedure starting point "IsProcessInJob" not found in DLL "KERNEL32.dll" *Resolution* The service pack for machines running Windows operating systems contains a fix for managing ANSYS CFX jobs run in batch mode. The fix introduces a call to a procedure which is available in Windows XP but not in Windows 2000. *Possible Workarounds* -- Revert to the previous version of ANSYS CFX by uninstalling ANSYS CFX 11.0 SP1 and installing ANSYS CFX 11.0 (and also the Update 1). -- Uninstall ANSYS CFX 11.0 SP1, upgrade the machine operating system to Windows XP, and re-install ANSYS CFX 11.0 SP1. -- A custom library for ANSYS CFX 11.0 SP1 which resolves this issue is available on request.
