How can I be notified via e-mail of a completion of a FLUENT run ? (only for Unix platform)

In the absence of any local system scripts, a FLUENT user on Unix who runs long and many batch jobs would like to receive emails notifying him of the end of these simulations. Run FLUENT through a journal file. After the iteration command, include the line: !mail email-address < message.txt where "email-address" is your e-mail address on that UNIX system, and "message.txt" is a text file present in the working directory containing the message you'd like to see in the e-mail. |
