AIX Cortex Error

Problem Description: When trying to launch FLUENT 12.0 on an AIX system you receive the following error: Cortex/aix51_64/cortex.3.9.2 because of the following errors: rtld: 0712-001 Symbol _GetCatName__FiPCc was referenced from module cortex.3.9.2(), but a runtime definition of the symbol was not found. rtld: 0712-001 Symbol __ct__Q2_3std8_LocinfoFPCci was referenced from module cortex.3.9.2(), but a runtime definition of the symbol was not found. Resolution: Check the Operating System and Compiler versions on this system. For ANSYS FLUENT12.0 the Operating System should at least be at the version 5300-07-01-0748 and C/C++ compiler (XLC) at version 9.0.0.7 . |
