"ERROR: Unable to start InterOp translator. Translator is not installed or corrupt"

Problem Desctiption: When trying to import a CAD file into GAMBIT you receive the following error:
"ERROR: Unable to start InterOp translator. Translator is not installed or corrupt."

Possible Resolutions: If choosing the File menu, Import, CAD option in GAMBIT you must have a license file for the CAD application you are trying to import. For example, cad-granite, cad-parasolid,cad-ugnx, gambit-proe. If you don't have one of these licenses then you will receive the above error. Contact your ANSYS Account Manager to obtain a license if one is needed.

If you are trying to import a ACIS, Parasolid, IGES or Step file using the File menu, Import, ACIS,Parasolid, IGES or Step file you will need a geom-trans license. If you do not have one you will get this error. Check your license file for this feature.

If you have a geom-trans license and you are still receiving this error the other things to check are:
1.Make sure that your ACIS, Paralsolid, IGES or Step file does not have spaces in the file name. (If so close up any spaces with underscore characters).
2.Make sure that your ACIS, Paralsolid, IGES or Step file does not have spaces in the directory or sub directory name. (If so close up any spaces with underscore characters).
3.A simple test would be to rename your file with a short file name and store it in a temp directory, for example, C:temp and try importing again.
4.Make sure the file does not have "Read-only" attributes.
