How to create a gray image with inverted color ramp? (for example, when submitting an article for journal publication) Here is the procedure to invert the colors. Go to : - Display --> Colormaps... - Click on "Edit..." button and the colormap editor will open; the colors will be displayed from black to white. - Click on the black color (extreme left of the color bar): Fluent shows Red, Green, and Blue values set to zero; scroll the bar under Red from 0 to 255; repeat the same with Green and Blue (i.e. set them also to 255); you should notice that the extreme left corner of the color bar changed from black into white - Click on the white color (extreme right) and switch it to black by reseting Red, Blue and Green from 255 to 0; you should notice that the extreme right corner of the color bar changed from white into black. - Under "name", specify a name for the newly created colormap and click OK. -Click on Apply button in the Colormap panel. |
