FLUENT 6.1: Easy workaround if session hangs when using porous media with power law model

A FLUENT 6.1.18 session hangs up when power law is used to model the source terms for porous media. This happens when zero directions are specified under Direction-1 and Direction-2 vector in fluid zone panel. The problem can be overcome by specifying non-zero directions (which will not affect the solution). This defect has been fixed in FLUENT 6.2. |
