Error: soeniputfile: Unable to open pipe for input


Trying to read or write gzip files produces this error
How are you launching Fluent? Through a shortcut on the Desktop? Have you placed a shortcut on the Microsoft Office Start Bar?

If so, that could be suspect, as shortcuts, occasionally need to be recreated. As a test, open up a command prompt and cd to a directory (without spaces in the name) and launch Fluent. Try to reproduce the problem. If you are now able to read and write gzip files then delete the Fluent shortcuts and recreate them.
